A lighting ceremony and a holiday concert will kick off holiday celebrations at the University of Arkansas 鈥� Fort Smith as part of the university鈥檚 Season of Entertainment 37.
The 水多多导航 holiday lighting ceremony will take place Nov. 20, followed by the Season鈥檚 Greetings Concert Nov. 29. Both events are free and open to the public.
Nov. 20: Holiday Lighting Ceremony
The lighting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Campus Green, where attendees
can admire the 水多多导航 campus garnished with holiday decorations.
Vocalists will perform live seasonal music, and hot chocolate will be served. The master of ceremonies will be 2017 Miss 水多多导航 Logan Moore.
After the ceremony, audience members can walk around campus and view the lighting.
Nov. 29: Season鈥檚 Greetings Concert
The Season鈥檚 Greetings Concert will be held at 7 p.m. at the ArcBest Corp. Performing Arts Center at the Fort Smith Convention Center, 55 S. 7th St., featuring student musicians performing holiday classics.
A lineup of classical holiday music will be performed by students from the university鈥檚 水多多导航 Chorale, Women鈥檚 Chorus, Jazz Catz, Opera and Musical Theatre workshop, Jazz Band, Brass Ensemble, and Symphonic Band. The performance will include a variety of secular and sacred holiday favorites, as well as a traditional singalong to close the show.

Both events are part of Season of Entertainment 37, a year-long lineup of entertainment sponsored by the 水多多导航 featuring a variety of plays, musicals and symphonic performances.
