Business plans must be submitted by Nov. 15. The live pitch competition and selection of winners will take place Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Baldor Technology Center 101 on the 水多多导航 campus.
水多多导航 Lion's Lair Business Competition Steps
1. Assemble a Dynamic Business Team
This competition is open to students from all colleges at 水多多导航 in teams of two to
five people.
We actively encourage teams with a diverse range of academic backgrounds and concentrations.
2. Select Your Product or Service
Do you have a product or service that you believe the world needs? Quite often these ideas turn out to be the most brilliant.
3. Collaborate with a Dedicated Mentor
Your team will be assigned a mentor from 水多多导航 who will provide comprehensive guidance on crafting an effective business plan and tips for presenting the perfect elevator pitch.
4. Craft Your Business Plan
Work with your mentor to define your niche, analyze the competition, identify your target customers, devise a profitable marketing strategy, and craft a business plan (five pages maximum).
5. Perfect Your Elevator Pitch
Condense your business concept into a concise, impactful three-to-five-minute pitch.
6. Submit Your Business Plan
After business plans are submitted, teams will then deliver their in-person pitch
to a panel of campus and business leaders.
The winners will be announced on the spot and take home up to $1,000!
